About Us

The inspiration for our café, Clover and Mug in Keauhou area in Kailua Kona, Hawaii’ came from the diverse cultural background of the area.

We wanted to offer a wider variety of delicious food, beverage and desserts to the people of Kona.

We decided to plan one that could contribute to the Kona community by offering unique food, desserts, a beautiful space, and excellent service.

The interior design is sophisticated and cozy, allowing everyone to enjoy their time comfortably.

We also had a desire to attract travelers to the area. We knew that Kona was a popular destination for tourists, but we wanted to give them a taste of something different.

Our café carefully crafted our menu to include a mix of traditional Korean dishes, American favorites, and unique fusion creations that would appeal to a wide range of taste buds.

Our café is more than just a business to us; it's a way to share our love of food and culture with others and to bring people together in a warm and welcoming environment. We take pride in offering high-quality, flavorful food and desserts that not only satisfy cravings but also create memories.

Fresh Fruits Beverages

We offer various drinks made with fresh fruits that are not commonly found in Kona. Our unique beverages include grapefruit ade, strawberry latte, and grape juice, each perfectly paired with the fruit used.

Our drinks taste much fruitier than those made with blended fruit juice because we use freshly crushed fruit.

We highly recommend you try our refreshing drinks to beat the heat of Kona.

Certified 100% Kona Coffee

Kona coffee is highly renowned worldwide. In order to preserve the distinctive qualities of this region and provide the finest quality coffee, we exclusively use certified 100% Kona coffee sourced directly from local Kona coffee farms.

If you wish to taste the freshly roasted and carefully managed certified 100% Kona coffee, we highly recommend you visit us at least once.

Speical Desserts

We have prepared special desserts that cannot be found anywhere else in Kona. One of them is the Croffle, a dessert that combines croissant and waffle. You can enjoy the flaky texture and nutty flavor of croissant, the shape and crispiness of waffle, and the sweetness of cream all in one dessert.
Another unique dessert we offer is Bingsoo, which is different from shaved ice. Bingsoo is made up of much smaller ice particles that melt like cream in your mouth, rather than the crunchy ice texture of shaved ice.

Fresh Baked Sandwiches

We open early in the morning and offer sandwich menus for those who want to grab breakfast. Our sandwiches are made with fresh vegetables and meat, making them a perfect light breakfast option.
If you're looking for a more satisfying meal, we also have paninis in various flavors such as Bulgogi panini. The taste of grilled meat and cheese combined with bread makes for a delicious meal.
